we actually tend to gain weight on KETO.. I eat practically no carbs and cut back on my protein too much as I lost energy so am taking it back up. I was not fat when I started and am ok right now but do not want to gain.My daughter and I both have edema and it is worse with keto diet.. but we are determined to stay on it.

Can it affect BM’s
Any diet changes will affect bowl movements for the first 4 weeks, but in most cases this returns to normal.

There can be a whole number of reasons for this Beverly, that’s were seeing your doctor comes into play.
