Hello Dr. Nally, First of all, I want to thank you for making the complicated science of nutritional ketosis so much more accessible to those who are interested in being informed about their own health. I look forward to your podcast with Jimmy each week, and I’m never disappointed. Last week, someone had written in with a question about GERD, and I recalled something I’d read in GAPS by Dr. Natasha Campell-McBride. She mentions a type of pathogenic gut bacteria that actually paralyzes the esophageal sphincter (I think that’s what it was) such that it can’t close. In this way, stomach acids are free travel up the esophagus, causing the symptoms of GERD. I know if you read her book (if you haven’t already) you’ll be able to describe this phenomenon more clearly. Keep up the great work, you guys are amazing! Laura
