What is the Direct Primary Care (DPC) Membership?

Here’s the essence: we no longer accept insurance. And, because we don’t accept insurance, you save a bunch of money.  Yes, you actually save money.

You become a member of our practice for a low monthly fee (fees listed below), and you get unlimited office visits and tele-health visits during regular business hours, transparent pricing on labs if not covered by your regular insurance, a doctor who cares about what healthcare costs, Dr. Nally’s personal cell phone number, and a whole lot more.

Comprehensive care – We offer high-quality care to kids, adults, and geriatric patients. This includes chronic disease management (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc), mental health, urgent care, sports medicine, medical weight loss, annual physicals and simple in office urine testing.

Office visits when you want them. With no fees – Need a visit? We can usually get you a next-day appointment, for no extra charge.  (After hours, email questions, holidays and weekends not included in the DPC membership, however, they are included in our Concierge Memberships.)
 
Extended time with the doctor – Appointments are typically 30 minutes, but can go as long as 90. Whatever it takes to get you taken care of. Good healthcare takes time.
 
Care offered at no added cost, co-pay or deductible – Suturing, cryotherapy, joint injections, EKG, nebulizer treatment, ear irrigation, and simple skin biopsies are all included in your membership fee.
Note: Manual cerumen removal by physician, more extensive skin excisions and application of splits will include an additional charges.
 
Coordination with specialists – If you require a consultant for specialty medical care, we will work closely with that specialist.
 
Greatly discounted lab-work – You can still use your regular insurance with the lab of your choice.  Our in house lab, LabTech, still accepts most insurance plans.  However, if you don’t have insurance, we’ve negotiated labs for dramatically discounted rates with LabTech.  The cost of labs, hormone injections or weight loss medications are not included with your Direct Primary Care Membership fee.

Access to discounted radiology – We will work to negotiate discounted cash prices for x-rays, MRI, CT and ultrasound.  Dr. Nally does much of his own ultrasound testing in office.
 
Manipulation – Yes, I offer osteopathic manipulation as part of your monthly membership fee.
 
See a physician – You will see a physician with over 25 years of experience.
 
DPC is an innovative payment model improving access to high functioning healthcare with simple, flat, affordable membership fees. No more fee for service payments. No third party billing.  The defining element of DPC is the enduring trust that forms between a patient and his or her physician.  Patients have extraordinary access to a physician of their choice, often for less than the cost of your cell phone bill each month, and physicians are accountable first and foremost to their patients (not the insurance companies). 
 
Note: The Direct Primary Care Program is only available to Arizona residents and those who can be seen face to face at least once yearly in our Arizona office.
