  1. Dr. Nally, I listened to the last Keto Talk and was surprised that you haven’t seen a lot of Keto Rash. I suffer greatly with it every time I am strict with my carbs. I would be happy to give you an opportunity to study it a bit if you are interested. I would love it if you could figure it out and get rid of it. It is super embarrassing to be covered in it. It looks like you are covered with ringworm. I live in Queen Creek so visiting you is possible but inconvenient. However, it would be worth it to get some help. Let me know.

    • Ian,
The fact that it is out there, yet I haven’t seen any of it makes me wonder if there is something in the diet or metabolically that we are normally treating in the office that is not being addressed with those getting the “keto rash.” As a family physician, I am usually addressing multiple issues with each of my patients, including their diets. With that said, it may be that I’ve just never had the pleasure of seeing it. The only way to know is to see your doctor or a doctor that understands ketogenic diets when the rash is flared up.

      • Thank you so much for your reply. My doctor put me on the diet and has been stumped by the rash. It is clearing at the moment due to 4 days of carbohydrate indulgence as I traveled but now that I am home and I am back in ketosis I expect it will return. If and when it does I would like to make an appointment to see you and have you evaluate my situation, underlying health issues, activities and etc. I believe if anyone in the valley can figure it out it will be you. Thanks again for the reply.

  2. My 16 year old daughter exhibits hypoglycemia. She’s not overweight. She has some gluten sensitivity. Does it make sense to use Ketogenic diet to help this? Are there labs I should get? Are there supplements that might help?
